Toitu Tangaroa

Te Wheke is seen above a rolling sea. Mitre Peak/Rahautu, covered in kowhaiwhai style patterns is seen in the background. These patterns represent the many species of rakau that blanket the land. A full moon can be seen in the sky representing the divine relationship between Te Marama and Tangaroa.
