The Right Hand of the Goddess

Created in the form of a hei tiki hand, the pendant on this taonga is crafted from whalebone, antique red coral, Tahitian pearls and sterling silver.

The Right Hand of the Goddess symbolises sovereignty, power and authority.

Strung on fresh water pearls and antique coral beads this  taonga is housed in a box marked with moko kauae. This pattern is worn by the artist and symbolises the Right to Speak.
